The Customer Service and Sales Specialist provides essential support to sales operations for the custom manufacturing services division. The primary purpose of this role is to be the internal contact for sales in managing customer needs and requirements. The CSSS maintains ongoing rapport with contacts at assigned accounts while serving as a “voice of the customer” to Ferriot manufacturing and other functional areas.

Education: Business Degree preferred or 3-5 years related experience.
Skills: Proficient communicating in English both verbally and in writing. Able to contribute effectively individually and as part of a team. Customer-focused attitude to build/maintain good rapport with clients. Able to interact with computer systems, processes and business functions. Maintain a professional attitude through changing priorities/challenges.
Experience: Experience in Customer Service (manufacturing or building products a plus). Background in order entry and management. Experience with an ERP System (DELMIAWorks [formerly IQMS] strongly preferred). Comfortable using Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word and PowerPoint). Familiar with customer relationship management (CRM) software. Able to problem solve and use independent judgment dealing directly with customers.
Attendance: Regular hours are 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Must be in attendance on a regularly scheduled basis and conform to all Company Attendance Policies. Opportunity for a hybrid work schedule after six months. This job may require occasional overtime work either during the workweek or on weekends.
Full-time Salary Exempt. This is an “at will” position.
